Only 45 Days Until We Diaper Green Bay! One in three mothers in America struggles to provide their babies with clean diapers. Unfortunately, there are very few public resources to alleviate this problem. Food assistance programs do not cover diapers, most licensed daycare facilities require disposable diapers, and most laundromats do not allow the washing of cloth diapers due to sanitary concerns. This can lead to babies being kept in dirty diapers for extended periods of time, causing both physical and emotional suffering for so many little ones. House of Hope's annual diaper drive, in collaboration with Green Bay Doulas, has raised more than 180,000 diapers to support families in need since its inception in 2018. If your business or organization would like to sponsor Diaper Green Bay or be a diaper drop-off location during the 5th annual collection drive, June 20 - July 16, 2022, please email LizK@houseofhopegb.org. |
